I Read, I Learn

Finally I have something to post here thanks to White Diary for tagging me. I have been so blank all this while....I didn't know what new to write. Anyway this tag is about books...hmm...I am not quite a reader....sometimes I judge a book by its cover...n quite a few times my judgements turned out to be correct. Anyway here goes my tag...

Total number of books I own:
A few.. maybe it comes up to 10...includes non-fictional. As a child I owned a lot of books n now its passed on to my niece.

Last book I bought:
Ladies coupe, Anita Nair. November 2005. It was for an assignment for my Sociology paper.

Last book I was gifted:
Death on the Nile; Unexpected guest both by Agatha Christie. Christmas 2003 gifted by my sister.

I am currently reading:
Well just finished reading a few days ago One Night @ the call centre, Chetan Bhagat.

Three books I started reading but never completed:
Three..haha..so many books I never finished reading. Ok I'll name three...My experiments with truth, M.K. Gandhi; One, Richard Bach; Moving On, Shashi Deshpande.Will definitely try to finish reading Moving On one day...couldn't complete it cuz I had too many assignments that time n later when I had the time the book wasn't there in the library..n it's over my budget to buy the book.

One book, which I gave to somebody else, but never got back:
There again...I had given many books to many people n didn't get them back...n some I don't remember if I had given it to someone or I kept it somewhere that I can't find now. But one book I want back is Harriet the spy...my long lost childhood book!

Who me!?

Yo...I am here to list down 8 random things about me and maybe unknown to others. Well this is written when any blogger 'tags' you among eight other people he/she has tagged..but as I am 'new in here' and nobody really knows me, so nobody has tagged me...so I am simply writing about myself cuz I like the idea. So here it is...

1. I so hate doing my eyebrows & upperlip X-( dude it hurts big big time!
2. I recently discovered I write 3 different f's in the word 'effortful'.
3. Totally being unaware of it, I break into this song 'Tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam' and I go really fast. This is so not my favourite song but somehow this is the only song that comes to mind.
4. I've got lost 3 times till date...lost meaning really lost that someone else found me and handed me over to the family incharge! And one of the times was when I was 18...it was pretty embarrassing! But like that I have been lost many times...like losing my way and finding it back...which happens almost everyday.
5. Another recent discovery...I can wink and whistle at the same time ;) well its not difficult at all...I asked my friend to do it and she could do it too, so anybody can I guess...ok I thought I was super talented!!
6. When I was in school, I was pretty much a good sprinter...so one of my friends wanted to know how is that I run really fast. So me the super talented woman...told her that you should hold a small stone (any random stone) in your hand and with that you practice and you can run really fast...! Some technique huh...
7. I so don't like it when people in a group, or just two people sitting, standing together and looking at me or whoever and they talk, smile, laugh and are still looking at me....and say 'nothing', 'kuch nahi' when questioned! Grr..
8. And finally, I love travelling by train...apna mumbai local....although I know how crowded it is and it can get worse...but I love it very much.
